I believe this is the first book written by Kiera and it was good. I will start by saying this is about a Polyamorous romance. If this is not something you are into then this is not the book for you. I will say that I felt a connection to the characters. Kida loves her best friend James, but doesn't believe he feels the same about her. She would rather love him from distance than lose his friendship. James also feels the same way about Kida.
When Kida literally is pushed into Miles she feels the spark with him instantly. Miles also feels the sames spark which is unusual form him.
This book takes you on a journey about finding happiness for yourself, not what others think is a normal relationship. I think the author does have really good potential in the second book.
