This is the first book I have read by Tracey Jane Jackson. Sadie has grow up in an abbey because she was an orphan. Her parents were killed in a car accident and the only living relative was her aunt that was a nun. Sadie's aunt comes to her one day and tells her that this is not the life for her and she should be out living. She was not cut out to be a nun. Before she left the abbey she was suppose to meet a friend and she ended up at a bar where she meets the owner, Ryder. He tells her if she every needs anything that she should call him. One night Sadie is moving her contacts from one phone to another and accidentally calls Ryder. Ryder wants to know more about Sadie and convinces her to go out with him. She finds herself struggling with reality and how to not be a nun.
Ryders owns a bar and as soon as he sees Sadie he wants to know more but no he has to many complications in his life. His sister has gone missing. Ryder must figure out how to save his sister and keep Sadie safe from his past. Can they have a future together when it seems so much is on the line?
