 Dick by R.C. Stephens is the first book I have read by her and I loved it. This is not your traditional story of love where the boy and girl meet, fall in love, get married and have kids. Dixon or as his friends call him "Dick" has earned the reputation of just that. He sleeps around, a lot. Dick also has two children whom he adores and loves more than anything. He is really involved in their lives at school and at home. Dick has made is way around the woman at his children's school and every woman tries to bed Dick. At a gala Dick meets a woman that intrigues him but finds out she is married. One morning he drops his kids off and his little boy wants him to talk to the teacher, who happens to be the woman that has plagued his thoughts since the gala, Eden.
Eden is in a loveless marriage and has a son. She is a teacher and loves it. She also has heard the rumors about Dick. Eden has secrets and now she needs help and she calls Dick for assistance. Leaving a loveless marriage is not going to be easy. Falling for Dick shouldn't be either. To complicate matters she finds out another secret and has to make a choice. Will she choose her happily ever after with Dick, and can he truly change his ways for her?
This is so much more than a love story, this is about realizing people that love you will do anything for you and you just need to trust in them. I would recommend this book and look forward to reading more from R.C. Stephens.

R.C. Stephens was born in Toronto, Canada. She graduated from York University with a Master's Degree in Political Science.

Her debut Novel Bitter Sweet Love is book one of the Twisted Series. Followed by Twisted Love to be released May 31st 2015. 

R.C. is an avid reader, so when she isn't cooking for her clan or on her laptop writing, she's snuggled tight with her Kindle devouring any romance novel she can. Okay, with the exception of Thursday nights. She makes time for Scandal and Vampire Diaries. She's a fan of drama and suspense but she's also a sucker for a happy ending.

Her husband was her first teenage love. They live together with their three children in Toronto. Loving Canadian winters she could never think of living anywhere else.
