This is a story of one man's journey to reclaim his life, the life he let go, believing he didn't deserve it.
Mike joined the Marines at the age of eighteen, determined
to make a future for himself and the love of his life, Grace. Though
Grace would prefer he'd made a different decision, she supports him and
waits for his return.
Unfortunately, as it goes in real life, tragedy happens,
causing the death of Mike's friend, Will, and the guilt Mike feels for
"letting" it happen. As he's struggling with his grief, he pushes away
those he loves, his parents, and his Grace. He ultimately learns from
his Dad that Grace had their daughter, Chloe. Mike didn't know that on
their one and only night together before he left, they created a
beautiful symbol of their love. But again, Mike, believing his girls
were better off without him, created a distance between them that she
couldn't overcome.
Four years later,
Mike is home and even though he still hasn't completely dealt with
Will's death, he's also now trying to cope with losing his father, and
the overwhelming loss he feels without Grace and Chloe in his life.
Since they were children, he's only ever loved her, a love
that has matured as they have into a once in a lifetime kind of feeling,
only wants her, and wants to be a father to Chloe, wants to tell Chloe
who he is. But first, he needs to come to terms with his past before he
can embrace his future.
Can Mike defeat the demons that are keeping him from taking
back his life? Will he realize that Grace never stopped believing in
him, in them? Will he get a chance to be a father to Chloe, a husband to
Grace? Will he find peace with his past so he can move forward and
become a family with his girls? Will Mike and Grace, and Chloe, get
their HEA?
One-click now to follow along as two people who've always
known they were meant to be together, finally get their chance to have
their family be complete.
