*REVIEW* Battle of the Sexes by Adriana Locke
Love, love, love this hot office romance! Carver Jones is the president, and believes himself to be the next in line as the CEO of Jones & Gallum. When Dennis Gallum openly announced his retirement at a board meeting, Carver is shocked to learn he has suggested his very own daughter for the position of CEO. Carver knows this must be a mistake-he was even friends with little Amity Gallum when they were all little, and the nerdy, shy girl will not be cut out for the job. The two are positioned against each other to compete for the title of CEO, but when Carver gets a look at nerdy and shy Amity Gallum, he's mesmerized. She is certainly not the same girl he once kissed in the closet during spin the bottle, though he wouldn't mind being caught in the closet with her once again. Although the two are fighting for the position of CEO, it becomes harder and harder to resist each other. As the pressures of work seem to take hold on both of them, it seems as though their scorching hot desire trumps all. This truly was a hot read! Carver and Amity are the perfect couple, and the banter back and forth will make you laugh out loud! This is a quick read, and I devoured it in one sitting!
