**4 Stars**
Lilly is finally doing something for herself, and a front-row concert ticket may seem weird to some, but she can't wait. Unfortunately, it's not quite the reward she'd planned. And the tall guy standing in her seat is only part of the reason. Regardless of how sexy he is and the urge to run her fingers through his hair. Lilly isn't happy at first, but that slowly changes as the evening continues. There's just something about him.
James (Hutch) was in the Marines, until he lost his leg. That tragic experience changed his life in many ways, including the vision he'd had for his life. Now he's attending college, thank you GI Bill, and smitten with a dancing woman. But, he's finding it difficult to talk to her. It's as if he never knew how. So, he needs to figure out a way to get her attention. And stealing her seat at the concert is the one he came up with. Childish? Maybe. But it works.
These two are alone in their own way, Hutch's by choice due to struggling with the aftereffects of what happened to them, but neither can deny the intense pull to one another. Nor the chemistry between them. Though their connection can't be denied and they decide to explore it, Lilly has plans of her own, and they just may take away the one person that makes Hutch feel whole again.
What happens when someone goes to extremes to get your attention? Will Hutch's crazy idea work? How will finding love impact their lives? What about Lilly's plans? Is a HEA in their future?
One-click now and follow along as two people meet, with a little help from one of them, and discover a love that only happens once in a lifetime. I love the obvious connection between them. It comes through on the page and you're instantly rooting for them. I like the visual of seeing this man, a Marine who has obviously seen, done, and been through a lot due to his time in the military, getting nervous over meeting the heroine, and then taking her seat like a little boy would to the girl he liked. It's an adorable image and endears you to him right away.
