*REVIEW* for My Mind's Eye By Gillian Jones

My Mind's Eye By Gillian Jones

4 Stars

Ryker Eddison is none as a player who spends one night with women and that is it. His brother, Levi, owns Pub Fiction, a bar where he has his own "bowl" for ladies to drop their name and number into.

Kat Rollins and her roommate Claire have just got jobs at Pub Fiction and the sexual tension between Kat and Ryker is high! Yet, Kat has an ex-boyfriend that has made her lose her trust in males and she wants to focus on her schooling. Kat has no desire to be another notch for Ryker.

Can Ryker and Kat move past their doubts and have a real relationship or will the pressure be to much for both of them?

This was a great book. I really enjoyed the watching the relationship between Kat and Ryker and the expectations that each has for the other and the constant denial of how they feel. I enjoyed how they each really wanted to ignore the other and work opposite shifts in hoping their attraction would just disappear.

I also really enjoyed reading about all Kat's anxiety issues and how she is trying to come to terms with them. Anxiety is such a common thing these days and it is so nice to read about characters in books having them. Her best friend Claire was amazing and so much fun in trying to get Kat to have more fun but at the same time let her know that she was safe!

Such a great book and I look forward to more from this author!
