This book brought out a lot of emotions in me. But mostly emotions of annoyance and pride. That right there should give you a hint as to the type of book this is. Mira is a strong willed individual determined to not let the mistakes of her past define who she is in the present. Jeremy has made a life for himself. One that he is epically proud of. But what happens when your past comes colliding with your future? For a smart girl Mira could act like a real idiot sometimes. There were points in the book where I wanted to slap her silly. But then there other times where I was immensely proud of the woman she had become. This second chance Romance was a little different than most. But I liked every minute of it.
