REVIEW from Sassy Southern Girl - Victoria
4 stars
This is a continuation of what is happening after Razing Grace, which absolutely needs to be read before hand. If not-you’ll be lost completely.
I do have to applaud this author’s imagination. This definitely was a great shot at being dark, but innovation fell short based on the first two books in the series. We’re taken back to Ella’s point of view when she was first exchanged and how she got close to Frost. There was a lot of insertion of past characters into this book, which was nice to see.
I do have to say, that Amo has a way with tying up her million different loose ends, and as an author, that’s not an easy thing to do. I did think there was a bit too much going on in this story, which could easily mistake it for being dark. You think of a trope, and this book pretty much had it. Virgin, killer heroine, mma heroine, alpha males-it really does have it all.
