A Woman's Worth by Audra North

Chantal Jones is a single mom of two boys, Luke and Owen, and the Vice President of Marketing at her company. She works hard and struggles to be a great mom after her ex-husband Mike left her for their personal trainer, Gina. Chantal struggles with her self-esteem from this and is trying to find her happiness.
Ronan Nakata is the gorgeous president of the company Chantal works for and has been a subject of many of Chantal's daydreams. When a blunder causes Chantal to mention a sexual comment to Ronan, she is afraid she may have risked her job, but instead Ronan somewhat propositions to her, as long as she is in control of what she wants.
As Ronan and Chantal begin a sexual relationship, will it turn into more or will both of their past relationships halt any chance of a real relationship and will Chantal truly discover what she is worth?
I really enjoyed this book as it looks at so many issues that single moms face. Chantal was trying to be there for her boys and make up for anything that her ex did that caused the boys anxiety. She was awesome at really trying to keep from saying bad about Mike with them and it was nice to see, even though Mike really deserved it. She also worked her butt to prove herself in the workplace and it showed as well, which gave her the money to support her boys.
I liked Ronan but totally understood where Chantal was coming from in calling him on his distance to her. I give her credit for knowing when to break it off when she realized he really wasn't appreciating her the way he should have!
This was the first time I have read a book by the author but it certainly won't be my last.
