Niko Callahan is a ladies man and in no rush to settle down. He has his own rules to abide by to make sure he never finds himself with a woman who wants more than what he does. Yet one night in the airport he meets someone who changes his life in an instant.
Everly Hayes has had a crush on the best friend of her brother, Cameron, since she was a young girl. But she has been away from home for years and has finally decided to return after a nasty break-up with Tate. When she sees Niko in the airport she decides to take advantage of the situation with him and have her one night of sex with him.
But secrets are bound to get out and what happens when Niko discovers who Everly really is and more importantly what will Cameron do?
When Tate comes back will Niko be able to keep her safe or will he lose everything because of the secrets they hold?
This was such a great book and I was wondering the whole time when everything was going to implode because of the secrets.
I loved that Niko had no idea who Everly was at the beginning as it set things up so awesome with the post-it note! Niko was being brought to his knees by Everly whom he thought was actually Alyson. There were so many scenes that made me laugh before he knew who she really was.
Everly was great and I loved that she took advantage of the situation with Niko, not knowing if she would ever have a chance again. She wanted Niko but knew his reputation and was worried about getting involved with him.
The confrontation between Niko and Cameron was everything I thought it would be and loved everything leading up to it because of what happened with Tate.
The ending definitely scared me but I loved how it all played out!
