*REVIEW* Waiting to Breathe by Alyson Reynolds

4 stars

Olivia and Nate are probably the sweetest couple you'll ever read in any contemporary romance novel. The author has created two extremely loveable characters-who you're dying to read more and more about. You get the feeling that these two just belong together- and while they are both suffering through their own problems, put together they can finally just breathe, and live life how college students are supposed to.
Olivia has been through the ringer. With parents that virtually only care about their image, and a cheating ex boyfriend that impregnates her, she's left with a tough, real life decision of putting her child up for adoption. Olivia basically only has her twin, Finn, in her life, and he's there with her no matter what. After Olivia had fled from place to place to avoid being harassed by her ex boyfriend, she finally feels like she finds solace being with her brother at his college. She's intrigued by her brothers best friend, and roommate, but doesn't believe she deserves any kind of happiness. When she realizes Nate is quite possibly the most genuinely compassionate guy she has ever met, she gets close, and forms an amazing relationship with him. The two are put to the test when Olivia's ex shows up, but Nate, being the amazing guy that he is, accepts Olivia's secrets and washes away the guilt she feels for putting her child up for adoption. This is a love story in it's truest form, and while the two struggle through hard times in their relationship, it's evident that together they can finally, and deserve to, breathe.
