*REVIEW* Stripped Bare by Heidi McLaughlin

5 Stars

Stripped Bare is the first book I have read by Heidi McLaughlin and it was really good. Macey is working her fingers to the bone she to make ends meet for her and her daughter, Morgan. She works at a dinner during the day and at night as a stripper. She has been told that she can go to Vegas and make more in one night than she does in one week. Carefully considering her options she ask her best friend to take care of her daughter while she goes to Vegas. She knows that this could be the break she needs to give her and her daughter the life they deserve. She is feeling lucky and sits down at a table to gambling when she losses everything she has earned this week. And to make matters worse she has just seen Finn McCormick, someone from her hometown.

Finn is living it up in Vegas. He has become successful owning one of the best hotels in Vegas and starting construction on another. When Finn sees Macey on security cameras gambling he almost couldn't believe it. When he sees her go all in and lose everything something inside him tells him to help her if only for the money.

Finn makes Macey an offer she can't refuse by paying for her to spend the week with him and being at his beck and call. Spending the week with Macey should be easy since they knew each other in high school. What he didn't expect was the feelings he had for Macey. When the week is over is knows he has to let her go but when he finds a small photograph is realizes it is not over but only just begun.
I loved how strong Macey was and how independent she was even doing what she needed to to provide for her daughter. The chemistry between Finn and Macey is off the charts. I look forward to reading more from this author.
