*REVIEW* Goaltending by Jami Davenport

5 Star Read

Goaltending was the first book I've read by author, Jami Davenport and I can honestly say I will be looking for more of her books. Her writing of this book was some of the best that I have read in sports romance. Goaltending introduces the reader to Martin Bricker, professional hockey star for the Seattle Sockeyes and the ultimate alpha playboy and also introduces us to Amelia Stacy, a child care worker. Martin and Amelia are brought together because Martin has a little girl delivered to his doorstep who turns out to be his daughter. Martin otherwise known as "Brick" needs a caretaker for his daughter because he is always on the go playing hockey and living his life as the ultimate playboy. That is where Amelia comes into the story. The relationship that develops between Martin, Amelia, and Macy, the little girl is so endearing. The journey of "Brick" changing his ways and learning to become a father was amazing. This book will definitely pull on your heartstrings and is a must read. This is a 5 star read and I would give it 10 if I could.
